MURDOCH COLLEGE ORIENTATION

 

Orientation is held for all new students, it is essential that students attend.

·         Orientation is scheduled for Friday 20th April 2012

·         Start time: 9:00am (Please arrive no earlier than 8:45am)

·         Dress code – smart casual.

·         A Parent/Guardian and Host Family representative is required to attend.

1.    Documentation

Students are required to bring their passport and visa (or e-visa). Students are unable to commence their course without this information.

 

2.    Uniform

3.    Booklists and Book Purchases

After subject/elective selection book and stationery lists can be obtained from the Murdoch College Website http://www.murdochcollege.wa.edu.au/ under QUICK LINKS. The College uses Wooldriges for all books and stationery requirements. Wooldridges are located across the metropolitan area for convenient self serve option and they also offer an online ordering option. Willetton branch located at 28 Kembla Way, Willeton WA.

 

4.    TAG and House information

Information about TAG and House allocation will be distributed at Orientation. More information about our TAG system can be found at http://www.murdochcollege.wa.edu.au/The_Murdoch_Experience/Teacher_Advisor_System

             5.    ID card photo and Transperth Smart Rider Card

Photos are taken at orientation for student’s ID and Smart Rider Card. Cards are issued to students two weeks later via TAG. All students are issued a Transperth interim card at Orientation.

 

        6.     Business Hours

7.    Location and Parking

Murdoch College is located on the Murdoch University Campus. Please park in Carpark 1 and come to front reception.
