Murdoch College - Year 12 (WACE)

Year 12 (WACE)

Year 12 students may take either five or six courses of study in Year 12. Stage 2 and 3 courses will be considered for university entrance. It is compulsory to choose either English, Literature or English as an Additional Language/Dialect (EALD).

At least one course must be selected from List A and List B, shown here. Students should consult university handbooks, university admission requirements and college staff to ensure that the correct courses are chosen to meet any pre-requisite requirements of their preferred degree course.

WACE examinations are held at the end of the academic year. The marks for these examinations are combined with school based marks to yield a final Tertiary Entrance Aggregate (TEA). Students are given a percentile ranking (TER) according to their TEA. Entry into university courses is dependent on the student's TER.
