Student Profiles As a Senior School student, I have a chance to participate in many lessons taught by well-qualified teachers who have helped me build personal confidence and academic knowledge. They have also given me tremendous encouragement and great belief in what I have done and what I will do later on in my life. All in all, choosing to study at Murdoch College is one of my best choices ever! Cong Thanh Le, Year 11 student Murdoch College is a great school, I love it here. The teachers are very encouraging, helpful and friendly and I have been given lots of opportunities to advance academically and to represent the school in many ways. If you are achieving well in class, extension programs are available. I also like the fact that we are able to use the university facilities. Isobel Wiltshire, Student Ambassador & Year 9 student We've learnt everything we need in preparation for the 'outside experience'. We know how to calculate future monthly repayments on our mortgages, what will be happening with white blood cells and receptors when our children get sick, but most importantly, we've made friends here, learned, laughed and cried together. Things are about to change but I don't think any of us can fault the preparation we've received - both in class and out - at Murdoch College. Nadia Tan, 2008 Guild President Since graduating from Murdoch College I am studying at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts, a rare honour for a Year 12 graduate as normally this institution only accepts mature aged students. While at Murdoch College our ability to use university facilities such as science laboratories, university theatre, library and gymnasium gave me an advantage. I found adjusting to university life a smooth transition. I was less intimidated by the independent atmosphere and this allowed me to immediately focus on my studies.
